In Central Florida the air conditioner works most of the year. Every cooling cycle, the evaporator coil pulls moisture out of the air — and that moisture ends up on the coil, in the drain pan, and inside the ducts.

Pleated filter installation.
Pleated filters have far more surface area than flat fiberglass filters, so they catch finer dust. We bring the right size for each return and install them facing the correct airflow direction.
Many makers of 1-inch pleated filters recommend replacing them about every 90 days. Homes with pets, allergies or nearby construction usually need it sooner. In Florida, where the AC runs most of the year, checking monthly is a good habit.
Filters are rated by MERV (ASHRAE Standard 52.2). A higher MERV catches smaller particles but can restrict airflow on some systems — so we match the filter to your system.

Do I need to leave the house during treatment?
No. Bio-Fresh cd's label allows application in occupied areas. It has a slight chlorine odor that fades. If anyone in the home has respiratory sensitivities, let us know and we'll plan around it.
Does duct sanitization help with mold?
Bio-Fresh cd is a bacteriostat and fungistat: it inhibits the growth of most odor-causing bacteria and fungi, and controls the musty odors associated with mold and mildew.
Is duct sanitization the same as duct cleaning?
No. Duct cleaning physically removes dust and debris. Sanitization applies a treatment to the system surfaces to control odor-causing bacteria and odors. They are different services.
